Established in 2020, Insert Solar Lights emerged from a critical community need. Brian and Michelle Vincil owned a commercial painting business and frequently encountered requests from their customers for assistance with security light installations.
Several years later, amid Brian’s battle with a chronic illness, Michelle began supplementing their income by delivering food and medications to local residents. During these deliveries, she regularly encountered poorly lit homes and driveways, making it challenging to locate addresses and diminishing her sense of safety. Reflecting on their past customers’ struggles with security light installations and Michelle’s concerns during her deliveries, Brian and Michelle identified common themes: time constraints, budget limitations, lack of tools, and limited installation know-how.
Driven by a passion for enhancing safety for her community, they set out on a mission to eliminate these obstacles by creating Insert and Insert’s first solution-oriented product. Thus, the birth of affordable, gutter-mounted, toolless, solar-powered security lights.

He sincerely believed in this product and its benefits and worked tirelessly to get it patented. As his health battles grew, Michelle took the helm and sought guidance from a mentor who shared their vision and could work alongside the Vincils to bring the product to consumers.
The introduction of affordable, gutter-mounted, toolless security lights marks the beginning of Insert’s journey. With plans for expansion, the focus is to offer a range of accessible products designed to enhance security and safety for all. Through innovation and a compassionate spirit, lives are being illuminated all across America.
